Pessoa said that landscapes are just a state of the soul. I think that is a very beautiful idea.

When I went to scottish highlands two summers ago, we stopped in the midle of a big field just to take a look at the thin rain falling. Once I left the car I realised it was the biggest field I've ever seen. And far from we were parked I saw a three, it was the only three for miles. And I run to get there, and while I was running the car was getting small in the monstruosity of the enormous field.
